Every story starts somewhere. This one started with an island.
Sun-warmed, poor, and full of love — and a brother and sister who had nothing in the world but each other. I could see them before I could see anything else about the book: two children on a green and sunlit shore, certain of exactly one thing, and that one thing was each other.
As I sat with them, a single question kept surfacing, and it wouldn't let me go: what does a heart do with a grief it can never quite outrun? I wrote Forever Love trying to answer it.
That question became Lyla — a girl who loses her brother, remakes herself more than once, and grows up to mend hearts for a living after her own has been broken again and again. And Lyla became a book about family, faith, and the bonds that time and distance can't break.
I hope it stays with you the way it stayed with me.
My debut novella, Forever Love, is now available in paperback and Kindle on Amazon — the story of Lyla, a girl who loses her brother and her whole world on a small island, and the woman she becomes when she dares to build a life again.
Welcome — I'm so glad you're here. I write tender, heartfelt stories about love, family, and the quiet courage it takes to keep going. A little about this place, and an invitation to stay.
